Ok folks, I am no newcomer to hackintoshes, and have never ran into such a problem. I get kernel panics traced back to the kernel (kernel_task) if I don't use -v at startup. While a minor problem to some, this REALLY nags me after patching the VESA tables in my VBIOS in order to support 1920x1080. This is on Snow Leopard with chimera 1.7.0 R877. Specs are those to the side of this text.
