Hi, today 8gb of ram that I ordered arrived and I put it in my hackintosh (laptop) and I resulted in a kernel panic. I tried mapping memory via clover, change AptioFix driver but no luck, attached there's some screenshoot I took of a slomo video of the boot.

Thanks in advance :)

SOLVED: I manually set the module like I did before but this time I set slot 0 and 2 instead of 0 and 1 and it works with dual channel now.

Hope to help someone with this thread :)

UPDATE: I managed to boot by manually setting the memory to single channel via clover, but I'm pretty sure my laptop has a dual channel configuration, any ideas?

If you have two sticks of ram - use them one at a time to see if one of them is duff. Check the details of the speed of the memory and if they are the same turn off spd in bios and retry dual mode again
