i did research about this for about 2 months, and still no solid solution found that works.

just opened this thread to focus on this only, and hopefully other users who use the iOS devices such as ipad and iphone can find a solution to get it working rather than cable only.

help?

cheers

okay,

what is the actual problem? you have not explained this at all?

ill start it off:

do you have the "sync with this iphone over wifi" box ticked off in itunes?
do you have any sort of port blocking, firewall or bandwidth monitoring installed on your mac?
have you checked the iTunes Wi-Fi Sync menu in your iPhone Settings -> General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync?

you need to provide more information.

Wi-Fi sync is working fine with my hack.

Borna.

There is outside authentication required for wifi syncing to work.

Have you by any chance modified your hosts file? or used a jailbreaking took such as TinyUmbrealla to reroute traffic?

This might be a silly suggestion but check your hosts file to see that nothing relating to apple is being re-routed.

Ill let you know if i think of anything else.

You do have a wireless card... right?

yep

tested with lan and wifi, and itunes wifi sync just doenst work.

nope its a clean vanilla iOS devices, and clean fresh install hacktosh 10.82 probook laptop.

doesnt seem that any of the folks in the probook forum use iPhone, or use the itunes wifi sync, so yeh maybe someone here might help solve this strange thing.
