iTunes and Chrome weirdness

Hi all,

I've started experiencing some weird behavior with both Chrome and iTunes on my Lion machine. This just happened in the last few weeks (and I've had my Lion system running for ages now).

iTunes - everything works fine, until I connect my iPad or iPhone. Then iTunes hangs (spinning wheel) for anywhere from 45 - 60 minutes and then the device syncs just fine.

Chrome - when launching (and restoring my 20 Chrome windows), Chrome locks up and after another extended period of time, finally loads all the web pages.

Very weird - but Googling both of these doesn't return a lot of results, so I'm wondering if it's my Lion install (rather than a Google and Apple bug).

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot / fix this?

open up your log, then open them, see if anything funny comes up, it'll be hit or miss but couldn't hurt to check.

Excellent tip - I checked out the logs and iTunes was in fact recording an issue. Found the solution here - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/37 ... 0&tstart=0

Now just to work out the Chrome issue - unfortunately nothing in the logs for when Chrome starts up!
