Having an issue with video playback in quicktime and safari. Whenever I play a video I can hear the audio perfectly fine, but the video itself wont display correctly. The video will be all distorted with random colors. However, when I play a video with google chrome or vlc, everything works perfectly fine.

I have tried reinstalling flash player and safari with no success.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Fixed these issues by switching to the mac pro 5,1 system definition.

my experience is that depending on which mac model (Macmini5,x) would cause it to try and use h264 hardware decoding and fail with my hackintosh. I'm not sure if it had to do with having HD3000/4000 enabled tho too, it all happened at the same time. Using MacPro3,1 and iMac12,2 didn't have the issue.
