can I turn this rig into a hackintosh?

First of all a Hello to everyone!
I never Built/installed osx yet so please be gentle with me.

I got a rig which I would like to turn into a hackintosh

Cpu is a i3 530 (2x2.95ghz)
3gb ddr2 ram
gpu is in cpu or dedicated nvidia 7300 if not possipossible other way
mainboard is a MSI MS 7634 ver. 1.1
Which is an oeOEM board from an Fujitsu Siemens amilio (i think) I guess lga1156

Any ideas if this will work and what it takes to get it running?

You can give it a try - but use a GPU that works with the version of OS X that you wish to start with. The nVidia 7300 will not work as far as I am aware.

Is it possible to run it without gpu?
I finished setup successful, but it freezes before welcome screen (no user created yet. (I tried 10.8.5)

Do you suggest trying with yosemite?
Only MB, Cpu, ram and hdd in

You should add a compatible GPU to try to get further with the installation process. It really is a pre-requisite to have compatible graphics to install OS X. Yosemite is not going to be easier.

Suggest that you boorow or purchase a cheap GPU to try to get further:

The other option is Linux.

So installing using an old gpu then remove it?
The lost says igp intel 4000 to be supported, which is part of the clarkdale cpu AFAIK.

Intel HD4000 is used on some of the Ivy Bridge CPU models. You have an i3-530 which has Intel HD graphics.

Can use a nv 6600 from my old G5 next week

The G5 used PowerPC chips and the last version of OS X supported was 32bit Leopard. the 6600 card is unsupported in the more modern versions of OS X.

Just noticed it's a i3 540, which does not change anything though.
So I will go to my neighbour and ask for his old computer to borrow his gpu and hope it's supported (and my psu can handle it)

Thanks anything lot for your fast replies really appreciate it
