So I'm looking to build a hackintosh computer, but I am quite the noob so I don't know much. I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for me, so the more compatible, the best.

Are these parts compatible for 10.8 Mountain Lion?

CPU - Intel i5-3450 (All ready have now)
Graphics Card - Sapphire HD Radeon 6870 1GB (All ready have now)
Motherboard - Gigabyte Z77-DS3H - http://amazon.com/?tag=tonymacx86com-20
RAM - Corsair DDR3 Vengeance 8GB - http://amazon.com/?tag=tonymacx86com-20
SSD - OCZ Agility 3 60gb SATA 3 (All ready have now)
HDD - 160GB Generic Drive (All ready have now)
Wifi Adapter - TP Link TL-WDN4800 - http://amazon.com/?tag=tonymacx86com-20
More Sata Ports - StarTech 2 Port SATA 3 PCI Express Controller Card - http://bit.ly/10mEJ5q

I am most concerned about the compatibility of the motherboard and also the extra SATA ports. I need them because my intended motherboard only has 4 SATA ports and I intend to dual boot with 2 hard drives for each OS (OS X & Win7. So I would need another one for the CD Drive.

Thanks, Adam :)

There's one problem. The 6870 works, but needs to be installed after the installation, i.e. the CPU graphics need to be supported. The 3450 has HD2500 graphics, which is not supported. Closest is i5-3570k.

There might be ways around it (like deleting the proper kext of the installation stick?), but I don't know them. I hope you can get working anyway!

Well thanks for the reply. Is there any really really dirt cheap graphics card which is supported fully so I can continue with this build without much expense?

Or I could sell my current graphics card and get a different one which is fully compatible and roughly the same price?
What are the most compatible graphics cards which are around the £100 mark. Or are there any fully compatible graphics card which works naturally for under £25?

The GA-Z77-DS3H has 5 available SATA ports on the motherboard. So if you need 5 SATA ports you may not need a separate SATA card.

Your system should work with Mountain Lion (apart from that SATA card which I have no idea) but please check the link about 6xxx cards below.

Go for HD 5770. More than enough in performance

Yeah. I had a 6870 in my Hackintosh and just threw it into a PC for gaming. I went with a cheap Radeon HD 5450 for like $30 that does two monitors. It won't be running any games, but that's not what my Hackintosh is for. Hardware acceleration, and two monitors works fine.

HD 5450 still a good choice and I think will work Out of Box

Thanks for everyones responses :)
That is a great idea to get the 5450 since it is so cheap.
How can I have 2 graphics cards on the same motherboard but only power 1 on for the certain os?
Since I don't intend to have 2 computers. I would much rather have 1 computer with 2 graphics cards turning on at different times, but that might not be possible.
Or I could just put the 5450 in, install the drivers for the 6870 and then just leave the 5450 out of my computer. Then when I need to install the drivers again or the 6870, I can just put the 5450 back in?
But thanks anyway.

Oh I forgot to mention this at the start but I don't mind if I need to use Lion instead of mountain lion, but I won't go down to snow leopard.
So Mountain Lion = YES
Lion = YES
Snow Leopard = NO

Also, would this guide help me? Is the intel hd 2000 graphics the same as the hd 2500 graphics? If it is I could actually use OS X without buying another graphics card.
