I read it but " That said, most newer laptops are generally compatible with Mountain Lion mostly due to the fact that the base components are provided by Intel CPUs and the Intel 6-series or 7-series chipset. There are many ways... but CPU-Z can provide the most important details...

For example, typical Ivy laptop:

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

No idea on that graphics card (I have no Radeon hardware)... You will need to do some research.

If your Win7 is installed legacy (likely), you'll have to repartition. If it is installed UEFI you can install OS X alongside using the Clover bootloader.
