I got my G5 case in and have been disassembling it but I get stuck with the top divider.

I can't seem to get it to release from the front bar with the panel locks. I have made it to release from the back of the case. (sorry I don't have any pics of mine since I'm at work but I pointed it out on this one)

Also, I don't want to break the latching mechanism (small arrow)

Flip the case upside down, look inside and behind each latch is a flat pressure clamp.
You can pop those right out with ease and then pull each latch out. You will also see about 5 cap bolts, you need to remove those, they are what the slid rail slides on. You will also want to remove the back latching pull tab by removing the little "C" clip on the rod and then sliding the rod out, be advised there are two small plastic washers on it so be careful. Once that is removed and the three latches you can then pull out the rail and remove the shelf.

If you need pics let me know.
