I'm thinking about building a Hackintosh based on the Buyer's Guide here. My question is: should I expect to run into any issues other than those listed in the guide? I understand that updating is always going to come with issues on its own, should I expect most everything to work at first?

I have unix/linux experience and I build a hackintosh in 2009 that I used for a while.

If you want minimum problems installing/running MacOS check the User Builds / Golden Builds forums and order hardware known to work together from one of the build lists.
