I tried to do hackintosh in my PC but when i boot from the mountain lion USB (made with unibeast) appears apple logo and it comes down, letting the PC locked, frozen. Black screen.

There are basic specs of my computer:

- MB: ASUS P7P55D-E PRO
- Graphic Card: XFX 9600GT, with one VGA and one DVI port.
- Processor: i7-860

The BIOS was configured as one tutorial mentioned, AHCI mode for dives. And also started from Boot Menu with GraphicsEnabler=YES, but, nothing changed.

thanks you in advance

Hi

I am newly registered here, but was following this great forum for the last month.

My question is the same and my purpose is to install xcode for development.

My PC is Intel based.

> CPU - Intel i5 (year 2010)
>Motherboard - Intel DP55WB
>RAM - 4GB DDR3
>Graphic card - ATI

Can you please help me to chose the right mac os (snow leopard or Lion) i want this to run on VM ware or virtual box.

Thanks in advance

Boot with the following commands and post where the issue occurs:
Code:
-v -f -x

Now appears all the console, loading files and configurations, but before get frozen, it shows the next message:

BootCacheControl: Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist: 2 No such file or directory

Mean while I keep looking for similar configurations, on more blogs. Thank you.

UseKernelCache=No/Yes Try that.

Hi here.

I tried last u recomended me, both cases, Yes, and No; but nothing changed. Same blocked black screen.

I would like to know what could be wrong at my Hardware configuration, to change the Graphic Card, or RAM, or...

I've watched some vids working on my MotherBoard and my Processor.

My RAM 2x4GB 1600MHz, but my Processor doesn't allow more than 1333MHz.

I use the vga port of my graphics card.

Thanks you

I tried with a DVI screem, and it didn't worked anyhow.

Also I tried changing my Nvidia 9600GT by an old 8500GT, with the same result.

I think I'm gonna give up. I just have plugged one HardDrive, RAM and Nvidia graphics.

Well, thank you anyway.
