As long as you're using Clover, it should be in theory. You may need to reinstall some kexts, but other than that you should be fine.

I did, it was fine. Get on a recent clover first. Have a backup OS to boot if something goes wrong. There are no pascal drivers yet so expect VESA-level glitchy graphics on your 1050. It'll force apfs on you if you're on an SSD so be ready to add apfs.efi to your clover.
