Is it possible to upgrade an old BootCD install?

Regarding my sleep problem, that tool/script didn't do anything. I thought this was a common problem and that this magical SleepEnabler.kext was the solution. But all I can find are multiple threads saying, "use this one, it's the bomb!", rather than anything useful about what it is supposed to do or what it solves.

I've played with my BIOS settings and tried a load of suggestions that I've found across the interwebs and still nothing. Who needs sleep anyways...
