I want to dual boot it with windows 8 beta and Linux Backtrack.

This is my first time doing this that is why I'm quite nervous and I want some comments about what will I do to gain the best of Apple OS

I have the same laptop, Asus K55VM and I´m trying to install lion with unibeast USB method but my computer resets when it´s loading the installer.

Someone can help us??

Hi,
achieved partial success with the installation of the Lion of laptop ASUS K55 VM. GT 630 M, i7 ivy Bridge processor, 8 GB RAM
A. I used UniBeast 1.4
2. I downloaded the Bridge Helper 4.0 not 5.0
3. Bridge Helper 4.0 installed on UniBeast USB stick
4. Boot from UniBist USB stick with flag -v
5. From the screen choose to install DiskUtiliti to make partition for Lion format it for Mac files of system GUID option and give him the name Lion
6. Exit DIsk Utiliti Lyon and install the disk named Lion
7. After installing the Lion restart and boot again UniBeast USB stick, select USB with boot flag -v
8. When the screen to install Lion Utiliti then choose Terminal
write the following code
Code:

rm  / Volumes / Lion / mach_kernel

Then type the following and hit enter:
Code:

cp  / Volumes / USB / mach_kernel   / Volumes / Lion /

10. Reboot from USB and choose Lion.
11. Run MultiBeast on your Lion drive with option Easy Beast, don't reboot yet
12. Apply BridgeHelper 4.0 to your Lion drive., now reboot
13. Reboot from Lion drive.

Note:
Experiment with MuitiBeast 4.6.0. I don't great success. I guess we have to wait and other posts on the use of different options MultiBeast for this laptop.
Lion successfully installed but I have no audio, WiFi, internet and the screen is low resolution.
We expect and other posts on what kexts to use to have full success of this laptop.
