iPhone only receives power from USB3 port

Hello, got this problem;
my front connectors are all usb3...

My iphone receives only power from this ports, and get not mounted.
On USB2 ports is working fine...


Anyone?

Possible cause and fix:

Iphone is jailbreaked with redsnow; redsnow does not support USB3 in OSX version.

I have the same issue like You but with iPod Touch 4Gen on Asus z68 board, after connection in system properties it shows iPod correctly but in iTunes nothing after ~10 mins only comes with error with connection. So jailbreak is not a problem / my ipod is not jailbroken.

ah okay. on windows 7 (same machine) iphone works fine with usb3.

anyway,. have it in USB 2 for now.

Do You have any USB 3.0 kexts under OSX i found some kexts but Asmedia controller ( i have that one on my mobo ) allows only to charge ipod but other usb stuff works just fine thumb drives etc. I think that Asmedia controller is the main source of problem maybe in the future better usb kexts shows up and that issue gone but now regular USB is only an option.
