On my Gigabyte H97n-wifi, I just got all usbports functional with the help of moderators:)
One of my usb ports turned out to be a internal usb port (HS01) for Bluetooth.

The question is: can I make this functional?
Attached are screenshots PCIe from Hackintool and Bt in hardwaresystem Apple.

If Yes, what settings and kexts do I need in Opencore?

In fact it is HS11 :)

Which version of macOS are you running ?

For WiFi you may check :

Compatibility :

For WiFi drivers :

Version 2.2.0 ( no Sonoma today )

Vers 2.3.0 -Debug-alpha ( take care on Sonoma !!!! )

For (Intel-based) BT, read section :

Installing Bluetooth module

from @miliuco's very good thread :

On Monterey and newer you have to install 3 extensions:
  • IntelBTPatcher.kext (available in OpenIntelWireless), requires Lilu 1.6.2 >> fixes a bug in bluetoothd by correctly initializing the bluetooth module
  • IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext (available on OpenIntelWireless), at least version 2.2.0 >> load the firmware to the device and set the device name in USB Host Controller to Bluetooth USB Host Controller
  • BlueToolFixup.kext (available in Acidanthera's BrcmPatchRAM package) >> on macOS Monterey IntelBluetoothInjector.kext stopped working due to changes made by Apple to the Bluetooth stack.

Cheers :)

Yes, sorry, typo, sh11 indeed!
Thanks Cosmix, a lot of useful links! I am on Monterey now, will check your suggestions:)
Don't rush, slow touch :)

HS11

First check WiFi. You only need one kext.

OK, wifi was easily with airportitlwm.kext :)!
Thanks Cosmix. later this evening I will try to install the bluetooth!
Here are some steps for this evening's task : BT setup

- download IntelBluetoothFirmware kit (vers 2.4.0 )

- download BrcmPatchRAM kext (vers 2.6.8 )

Disable ( if any ) Intel Injectors and other kexts related to BT.

Un-zip both downloaded archieves.

Install these kexts :

1) IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext
2) IntelBTPatcher.kext
3) BlueToolFixup.kext

Reboot, reset Nvram , etc

Test your BT devices ( headset, speakers, phone, etc).

Cheers :)

I think I got it working Cosmix! Thanks for making it so easy! Unfortunately I can’t find the antennas anymore. Might have thrown them away, since I thought (for 8 years) that the wifi/bluetooth module couldn’t function. So, it is hard to test properly, but I can switch wifi and bluetooth on…I will look for a new sma antenna for the module…

Well done ...
It is nice to have well-defined USB map, Bluetooth and WiFi ....

I think you can check Google for something like this "generic wifi antenna".
=============================

Check the manual of your motherboard and find if there are any requirements.

So, to answer to your thread's question :

Internal BT maybe functional?

YES !

Cheers :)
