Hi guys,

I have a post installation problem with Intel UHD 630 Graphics Acceleration. It only gives me 6MB of memory. I assume the acceleration isn’t working.

This is my first mackintosh build and this is my first post in here. I know there is a ton of posts about this problem, I’ve been reading them and trying to get it working for 5 days straight now.

I hope this post format is acceptable, please advise if I have missed something.

From what I can tell (which is limited as its my first week diving into this) whatevergreen isn’t loading.

I have a feeling that the ig-platform-id and fake id for IntelGFX is incorrect for my hardware/software setup. I have had trouble finding specifics for this hardware and OSX version so I’ve been trying other recommend for similar setups. Where can I find the correct values for these?

I have attached the bootlog.txt and my current config.plist

I can’t find the debug tool but I've seen it mentioned a few times.

Please help me if you can, thanks in advance.

It says:

Mac-63001698E7A34814 is an iMac19,2 which is not supported with the version of macOS that you are attempting to install.
Simple solution = Change your system definition or change the macOS version to one that does support it.

It may work if you boot with - no_compat_check.

You cannot have accelerated graphics if you inject Intel in your config.plist.

Excellent! I read that somewhere, I've unchecked that box, rebooted but no acceleration.

Do I need to populate the Fake ID for Intel GFX on the devices page in Clover?

Or do I look at the framebuffer patches? I'm having trouble understanding those so far.

it is better to use Framebuffer patching from Hackintool.
remember to remove any device id or fake id used for graphics before patching.

Thanks gauravnarula, are you able to recommend a guide for Framebuffer patching?

I've been trying to follow this
https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/blob/master/Manual/FAQ.IntelHD.en.md

but I'm having trouble understanding where to modify this in Clover

But some parts of it are starting to make sense to me.

Also I'm considering starting fresh and trying Mojave, I read somewhere that the coffeelake processors only work from Mojave and up but I can't find where I read it.
