Based on my research it seems it will work,any one can suggest.

There is a long thread here that covers the 5i7 toward the end. In particular, see the guide on page 19. It works moderately well (assuming you get compatible disk and RAM, which should be easy enough). The wireless/bluetooth and IR do not work, and there are still some nagging graphical glitches.
