I have successfully installed OSX 10.6.5 and all seems to be working well.
My system has been detected as an iMac 11.1 but going on my specifications should it be a Mac Pro instead?

My system configuration is as follows:-

M.B. - GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R V1.0
CPU - Intel I7 930
RAM - 6GB OCZ
GFX - ATI HD5770

I'm not really worried about weather my system reads "iMac" or "Mac Pro" but will either configuration affect performance in any way? or is this ID. purely a name?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

That's just a name and won't affect anything except how your mac "appear" as a iMac or Mac Pro. I thought in the newest Multibeast 3.0.3 they removed that option and leaved only iMac as option :)

Cheers !

I'm not sure about the new Multibeast I used version 2.6.3 during my install which worked fine on my setup.
I had a feeling that the machine identification was only a name, thanks for your clarification.
