When I connect HDMI cable to my hackintosh(other side is my 1080P TV), the hackintosh laptop reboot by itself. Found a similar issue from the forum and try to follow the instruction but no luck.

Please help to take a look on the problem.

Thanks!

Try using WhateverGreen.kext to patch for HDMI.
It will default patch DP->HDMI if you omit the -igfxnohdmi kernel flag.

I tested it (I have the same CPU) and still the same problem.

Try using WhateverGreen.kext to patch for HDMI.
It will default patch DP->HDMI if you omit the -igfxnohdmi kernel flag.

So I should do these:
(1) Copy WhateverGreen.kext to EFI\CLOVER\kexts\Others
(2) Modify config.plist, remove all the -igfxnohdmi kernel flags.

Correct?

remove all the -igfxnohdmi kernel flags.

It really depends on how you want to patch for HDMI. I prefer to specify the applicable patches manually instead of using the automatic method (and some of my systems have both DP and HDMI, so the automatic patching cannot be used).
