Intel HD3000 0X116.zip

Im going to try this tomorrow. Iv been playing with HD3000 stuff for a few weeks now. trying to get my Samsung slate to boot in native screen not to hdmi. It will boot to native screen when cache is ignored (-f) but only 64MB of Vram and 1024x786. so ya I'm a lil annoyed. Well here is a link to what I'm doing. viewtopic.php?f=170&t=39461 see if you guys might have ideas for me. have a great New Year!

I'm newbie here but,

I was failed when just installing the Intel HD3000 0X116.zip which previously
uploaded in this forum.

Finally I got working QE/CI.

For 0x01168086 users,

1) change the value of the two files (AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext and AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext)
-> this was previously descreibed many times. 0x01168086
And, in AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext
I changed 01168086 to 0x01168086. (added 0x)

2) Here is my addition
I changed value of IOVARendererID
in AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext. to SUBSYS ID from program named "HWiNFO"
in My case I took the value from below. SUBSYS_ 8 digit number.

Finally I was able to get QE/PI.

Hope you success.
