I am really confused on what is and isn't supported with the Intel HD 530. Is it possible to get 4K video through an HDMI cable using the HD 530? I'm planning on buying a GTX 1070, which currently isn't supported (as is my understanding anyway), so I'd have to rely on the HD 530 while in macOS, which I am OK with. I would like to know if it's possible to do 4K resolution using the HD 530.

According to ammoulders guide, it didn't seem clear. I was really confused on what was said, because it reads contradictory.

Could any one clear this up for me?

Yes it does. I can only verify the use of one 4K monitor (Asus 287Q) because that is all I use here.

Only use one monitor anyway, so that's all I'd need. Thanks! :)

I need to ask you something. I have Intel HD 530 working via DisplayPort at 2160p 60hz. With acceleration. But I have a problem, I can't set HiDPI resolution 1440p.
I can use 1080p HiDPI that is way too big, or 2160p that is way too small.
How do you solved this? Is a problem related to my monitor?

I'd recommend using a program like SwitchResX.
