Good morning everyone,
I just installed High Sierra (17A405) on my 2nd Hackintosh laptop (the one described in my signature... Acer E1-570) but, altought the HD 4000 worked flawlessy with El Capitan and Sierra, I had to install it with ig-platform-id 0x12345678 because the installer, and now the OS, don't boot with 0x01660003.
Attached:
- clover.zip
- IOReg.zip
- Output (Terminal).zip
- patchmatic results.zip
- verbose boot.jpg.zip (photo of verbose boot when using correct ig-platform-id)
Probably it's an easy solution and I don't see it because I'm a bit dazed after days of over-satisfactory learning.
Any help is really appreciated.
Thank you,
Miki
EDIT: nevermind! I tried different ig.platform-id and 0x01660001 and 0x01660002 (better, no strange glitch at boot) worked!
By the way, how can I get rid of those PNOT lines during bootstrap? And, of course, if you see something wrong in the files I attached, please tell me. Thank you, have a nice day!
