Did you have any issues with LAN support? Can you show what you selected for LAN? Your board has the Intel LAN controller, so it sounds promising for me to go ahead with a DH61AG Intel board.

Hi Asklinux,

I assume that you are using an Intel DH61WW motherboard? Have you tried to repair permissions using Disk Utility on your HDD/SSD? Audio midi setup is OK? Audio preferences displayed or not?
If you have a look in /System/Library/Extensions do you have the correct AppleHDA.kext for your MultiBeast selection?

I am sure that we can get to the route of the problem but more information will be needed. If you need a simple quick fix then have a look at getting a simple external USB sound card:

Thanks for replying with the process that solved the problem for you. If you have rebooted several times and are still having problems with iMovie then it is probably a good idea to firstly check for updates for iMovie (these are safe to download). Try rebooting, apple support might help: http://www.apple.com/uk/support/mac-apps/imovie/

lastly - uninstall the app and re-download it from the App store.

Keep us posted on progress
