If you are asking about the CPU itself, then yes, it is compatible with Snow Leopard (10.6), Lion (10.7) and Mountain Lion (10.8). What motherboard do you plan to use with it, though?

The Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H? Yes, it should work. But you will need a supported video card since the HD2000 CPU graphics of the Core i3 2120 is not supported in OSX.

The 650 is quite new, although Mountain Lion should work with 6xx cards like the 640, I am not 100% sure on the 650.

I would also like to add that you need access to a real Mac or hackintosh running Snow Leopard (10.6) or higher to purchase Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store and make a UniBeast USB stick to boot and install Mountain Lion.
