Installing Lion on Overclocked CPU?

Will an overclocked CPU interfere with how this upgrade installation will go? I know in recent upgrades, a few people had to "Load Optimization Defaults" to get it correctly installed. I currently have an i7-2600k OC'd to 4.2ghz so Im taking precautions before upgrading. Anyone upgrade successfully with an OC'd processor? Thanks.

While I don't run SB I have the i7 870 running at 3.19GHz instead of the default 2.93GHz. I had no troubles at all with the upgrade, RAM speed is also at 1450 rather than 1333...

I got it workingnwith an e5300 OC @ 3.5ghz if thats any help mate.

Running on 2500K over clocked to 4.5 Ghz. No problem installing or running. But sleep will not function and it will reset the CMOS, so you will have to reset the overclock settings when that happens. I can live without the sleep for the moment.
