Hi.

I've been trying to install 10.6.7 for the last week or so, unsuccessfuly.

What I ask you now, since lion came out, is to help me and other users with this same laptop.

My questions:

1) Can I install Lion without any other os x in my system already working?

2) The HDD NEED TO be formatted?

3) Will the latest iBoot version work fine or a different version would be more advisable?

Thanks!

Edit: What are the kernel flags that I need to insert before trying to install? Do I need any addicional files besides iBoot and Mac os x dvd?

1. Yes
2. No
3. Don't use iBoot. xMove and Lion from the App Store are required.
And you shoudnt need any bootflags unless you are having any problems starting, in which case you will need to figure that out on a per-problem basis

You can't install 10.7 off of a CD. You have to have a working 10.6 installation to get to 10.7 with xMove

Ok.

I'll try to install snow leopard first.. but still what sould i use other than iBoot?
