Hi all,

I have already a Hackintosh fully working with high sierra but i didn't dare to upgrade to Mojave yet.

As test I am using another HW system is a Bios based no UEFI support, it is old HW but it should work, Sierra was installed on it once.

GIGABYTE GA-H55M-UD2H, LGA 1156 / Socket H, Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i5 i5-650 3.20GHz 4M SLBTJ CPU Processor LGA1156

Nvidia GE-Force GTX 660ti

4x 4GB DIMM 16GB

It took 4 hours to basically complete the installation and when it was at less than a minute it got stuck there.
It was still installing I guess but after another one hour no progress was still showing less than one minute and still the same after another 30 mins but the HDD light was blinking so i assume it was really installing...but thinking that it was stuck I reset.

Obviously the boot failed because it was probably still installing.

The USB is a USB 3 64GB plugged in into a USB 2 port, I don't have USB 2 versions anymore.

Can anyone tell me how long does it take to install Mojave?

Thanks

I am reinstalling so far it took 2 hours and 10 mins, it rebooted twice, and at this phase is stuck at less than a minute in the last 15 mins, but the HDD led is blinking meaning that is still writing info, does it take so long, is this normal?
