installed mountain lion - selected ssd wont get past loading operating system?

so i installed mountain lion on my ssd and after it was all said and done i ejected my unibeast drive and tried to boot up from the ssd. when i selected the ssd it just stopped at loading operating system. any idea what to do?

and i can still boot from the usb drive if i select the install of osx i did.

I am having a similar issue - I could boot to OSX once, but then it hangs on reboot. My guess is that since we have installed no drivers, Mt. Lion is checking for an internet connection and hanging when it tries to access the driverless ethernet port. I am planning to reinstall and be ready to install Multibeast before rebooting.

Does anyone know if Mt. Lion does require a working ethernet or some other aspect of Multibeast before the first reboot?
