I managed to successfully install Lion and the system is working great.
I have dsdt file but the sleep is not working properly and i have issues with the USB when rebooting the system. Everytime i reboot the USB mouse and keyboard does not work, i will have to hold down the power button and turn the system back on to get it working.

I installed the USB support from multibeast but not sure where is the problem.

Any ideas on how to resolve the USB?

I updated from 10.6.7. Waking from sleep is a disaster on my system.

when i woke mine from sleep it reset the cmos and i had to go to bios and setup everything.

That's what happened to me too!

hopefully we will have the new multi beast 4.0 and it will have new updates for us.

Thanks Tony!!!!

I guess you don't need 10.6.8 to update to Lion after all. Thanks for the confirmation guys; I've been asking this question everywhere but nobody answered me. :banghead:

I read it somewhere that as long as you have 10.6.6 to have the App Store icon then you can upgrade to Lion.

10.6.8 was a problem on my system, sound and network never worked, and it was running very slow.
