Hello, I'm trying to install Snow Leopard on my HP Pavilion. I'm using iBoot Supported. I can begin installation only in safe mode (-x). Then I choose language, formating HD (mac os x extended (journaled)), choosing partition and additional components, and then installation begins. At about 25% I'm getting an error "The installer could not copy the necessary support files", and I have to restart my PC. I tried moving mouse while installing.

Could you help me with this? What should I do?

Thank you very much for your time and help

Hello, I have checked error logs. I have something like that:

reading from /System/Installation/Packages/BaseSystem.pkg: Input/output error
error processing data: Input/output error

and

Failed to download package from file://localhost/System/Installation/Pa ... System.pkg and no alternate source.

This errors appears at about 10-25% of installation.

I can't copy and paste entire log.

Please give me any advice that would help me, because I don't know what to do.

I have HP Pavilion DV9500, Intel Core2Duo T5250 1.5 Ghz. 1GB RAM (2x512), NVIDIA GeForce 8600M.
