Installation does not continue

Since I was not able to download the full installer from the App Store, I recreated it using the guide in this forum. But after starting the installation and booting into the hard disk to continue installation, I always get the message:

macOS could not be installed on your computer.
An error occured while loading the installer resources.

I read in some threads this might be due to the fact that I can't download the complete OS but only the installer. Any other idea how I can fix this?

As I already said I followed this guide and created my install stick. But then I get stuck with above error message after starting the installation on hdd.

I get the same message when attempting to update from 10.13.1 to 10.13.4.
