Install Yosemite in Asus Maximus V Formula (How to fix all errors)

Hi everyone, first sorry for my bad English (I'm Spanish )

Copy all files below on a USB for installation

Flags:

1._To install Yosemite use npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes -v
2._Install the system
3._Restart
4._Now use the same flags if the same flags of point 1 doesn't works try
GraphicsEnabler=Yes kext-dev-mode=1 nvda_drv=1 -v
5._Previously you must have Multibeast in your installation USB or another USB (Click here to download)
6._Download my configuration file of Multibeast, open it
7._Go to Customize/SSDT Options and choose your CPU (i5 or i7)

8._Next click on Build and install.

9._Copy my org.chameleon.Boot.plist and paste it in the folder Extra on your HDD and remplace it. (If you dont see your HDD pulse cmd+shift+c)

9._Restart your computer and ¡Magic! all drivers working

While using nvidia web driver, Chimera's graphics injection (i.e., GraphicsEnabler) is not required, better set it to No.

Also as per my understanding the "Customize > SSDT Options" is required when you have a Sandy Bridge CPU and it's SSDT present in place (/Extra).

One option is search in this forum with your Motherboard model number so that you may get the correct BIOS settings from someone's build guide.


Otherwise cross check your BIOS settings with below, (Ignore those are not available)

1. Set Boot Mode to Legacy/CSM Enabled (If you are using Unibeast/Clover in Legacy mode)
2. Disable Secure Boot
3. Disable Fast Boot
4. Disable CFG-Lock
5. Set OS Type as Other OS
6. Disable VT-D
7. Disable TPM
8. Set Graphics Card as your Primary Video Adapter, Disable Internal Graphics (If you have dedicated GFX Card)
9. Set SATA Mode as AHCI
10. Disable EIST (Enhanced Intel Speedstep Technology)
11. Enable USB Legacy Support
12. Set xHCI mode as AUTO (Not SMART Auto)
13. Set xHCI Hand-Off as Enabled
14. Enable the EHCI Hand-off
15. Enable HPET
16. Set HPET to 64-Bit
