ya know i've never actually seen a mac in the flesh Aluminium so I don't know what it is like, I might just have to google that and when this laptop is 100% functional (I mean everything including dual GPU) then I might consider trying that hack ;)
 
ok so from what I see it loads up a blank screen then straight onto the mac logo, don't see the point to be honest. I actually think the chrome apple is a nice touch :)

I always use the Power Button. Not a huge deal to me. Maybe someone else has.
 
I noticed that my HDD is formatted as MBR. I thought Mac couldn't even run on a MBR HD?

I don't think so but I didn't format as GUID before installing. I followed your old guide on InfiniteMac.
 
Ah. That guide no longer works, but that explains it. I'm not supporting that method. No in detail discussion about it now please as I don't want to confuse people.
