I've got a Kaby Lake 7600K, GTX 1080, 16GB RAM, 960 PRO nvme SSD ... A nice recipe for a very fast PC.
Except, on MacOS, it's far from. It feels like I'm on a 2010 Macbook running GTA V.
I have noticeable lags on:
Typing text, moving the mouse, dragging windows, watching video ...
I remember having a very fast system back when I was on 10.12. So something along the way went wrong
I've tried multiple things to fix it:
Is it a MacOS update? Is it the new 4K 30-bit monitor I'm using? Is it a magical unicorn?
I have no clue ...
The guys in this thread seem to have the same problem, but without any solution:

So ... My questions to you:
Thank you!

I've tried multiple things to fix it:
- Following the native power management guide. (First using ssdtPRGen.sh, then switched to SSDT-XCPM) Power management seems to be working, but doesn't impact my performance in the positive way.
- MacOS update to multiple newer versions, each time hoping it would be fixed (10.13.2, supplementals, 10.13.3)
- Clean install
- Clover updates
- Clover upgrade to OsxAptioFix3Drv-64.efi (and remove emuvariableuefi-64.efi)
- Enabled/Disabled iGPU in BIOS

So ... My questions to you:
- What can I try that I haven't tried before?
- Are you an expert willing to have a look over a remote connection? This is my workstation so I'm even willing to pay for a solution (paypal)
Thank you!
