UPDATE**** WORK FCX VERSION 10.2.2 LIKE A CHARM!

Version 10.3.1 crash!:banghead:

Hi guys!
Is there anyone who is running the Rx 480 with Final Cut 10.3.1 in Sierra? Thanks!

Hi @iphonetikpr

I have RX 480.

FCPX 10.2.3 running fine with me so far (like you mentioned in the other thread). But when I tried 10.3.x it gives an error when importing media or creating new project.

I thought that after updating to FCPX10.3.2 and OSX 10.12.3 it will be fixed, but unfortunately no :( I even tried to erase the disk and reinstall OSX, still no luck.

I've also tried:
- Deleting FCPX preferences
- Using AppCleaner to uninstall FCPX and reinstall it back
- Tried to import different rushes from both Internal and External drives
- Create new library
- Create new mac admin account

I would like to get some enlightenment about this too :)

I came late to this crash party...

In the end what do people recommend in these situations?
Always remove Intel Graphics Injection?

Did anybody find a better solution?

Did anybody find a better solution?

Just got here myself after adding a Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 560 to my system (and upgrading to Sierra + Clover)

I just now tried out the option noted above, and changed the Graphics section in my config.plist such that:
<key>Intel</key>
<false/>

I rebooted and iMovie and FCPX do NOT crash at launch. I've give iMovie a 3 minute check and it seems to run.

The internal motherboard graphics port still works, by the way -- I could watch the boot process, but the video on there is ridiculously choppy so I guess I might as well remove it.

Thank-you to the folks above who provided the solution!!

One question (hoping other people come by this thread...)

Still no solution better?

Do people with macPro IDs have the same issues or is it just me for trying to pic a model close to mine?
Would an iMac ID change anything?

With the old multicast I had found the best options for my graphics... Here I tried forcing some parameters for the internal graphics but no joy.
