iMessages and Fusion. Anyone have it working?

Do you have a Fusion based system? Did iMessages work before you set up Fusion and fail after? For me iMessages worked on Mt Lion before Fusion but after it doesn't. This problem still lingers with Mavericks.

I'm wondering if I didn't use a Fusion set up iMessages would work. Some little digging led me to someone saying it might have something to do with how iMessages uses a drive ID. Anyone here of that?

Thoughts? Work arounds?

I have fusion and my imessage not working either. I installed Mavericks on a standalone HDD and still no imessage. Going for a clean install again. Was running GM1, lets see if i can get iMessages to work.
