iMessage ... Facetime problems

It seems there is a lot of soul-searching going on at Jaymonkey's iMessage thread (beginning about here http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-help/110471-how-fix-imessage-276.html). This is because of the problems encountered with activating iMessage and Facetime, especially for a 10.10 upgrade, or going from Chimera to Clover, or both.

Perhaps, but if you log out or have some mechanical failure (i.e., having to run DiskWarrior and see it mess up the boot), then you risk losing access and nothing really works, even making the phone call (which is not really a permanent fix either).

I can log out/log in FaceTime any time, what do you mean?

Something isn't working the way it did. It does now, though. You inspired me to try the right combination of MLB and ROM #s after beating around the bush. But others seem to have a real, intractable problem.

Where is 3.1 or 3.x method there? (only 3. Correct MLB Information). Do you mean to say there are 3 steps to be done?

I removed those 3.x because they are considered hacking to Apple system. You can find "How to fix iMessage" thread in tonymac forum for more detail.

I´m in trouble...when i upgraded to Yosemite in november i contacted Apple Support to unlock iMessage, and it worked fine...until today

I called again, but now it is not working...they say they unlocked my account and i still can´t sign in to iMessage...what should i do??
