I had iMessage working perfeclty for over a year on my hack. Last night I noticed that iMessage was not signed in when I booted up. When I tried to sign in I got an error, asking me to contact support. I figured that there's something up with my hackingtosh and i wanted to see if my serial number was fine. I went to https://selfsolve.apple.com/ but it's 404ing (the only way I found to validate my serial number was to try and start a chat). So after checking my SN it turns out it is no longer valid.
I can't sign into iMessage or Facetime at this time.
My question is, if I try and change my SmUUID, MLB, ROM and SN now using CloverConfigurator, all other things being equal, will I have any issues with iCloud?
Will Apple think I have signed into their services using a completely new machine? I've followed the steps outlined in the great How to fix iMessage Guide on this forum originally, and I would follow these steps again, but before I do I'd like to know if this would put my AppleID in jeopardy.
Also, is anyone else having issues like this? Has Apple changed something in the backend? (espiecially since selfsolve is 404ing).
