Good point. This post is for this: exchange tips and experiences.
Ryzen 5 5600 and Vega GPU are not compatible with MacOS?
Other option is a micro-atx or mini-itx board with regular Intel/AMD cpu, but it's mandatory slim cooler.

Others challenges:
- Power supply: It can placed outside imac or user a AC Adapter
- External ports (USB, network, etc) will be empty: It can adapt extension cables
The Ryzen 5 5600 CPU should run MacOS Monterey or Ventura, but any AMD integrated GPU is not supported, and you don't want that.

If you want to use a system with an AMD Ryzen CPU to run MacOS, you will need a supported AMD graphics card like the RX 6600, which you won't be able to use in an iMac enclosure.

Very important info. Thank you very much.
AMD option is out of my mind.
Next step: Mini-itx board with i3 10th gen

Nice tips tks
BTW, how to put its video card 90 degrees?
I use an ADT link plugged into the M.2 NGFF E key slot.
