iMac 21.5" 2011 monitor re use

Hi,

After doing my first hackintosh build and being busy with a g5 mod i was wondering if i can use my broken iMac 21.5" 2011 model.

After he was hit by lightning the motherboard died.
The idea is to re use the case and screen. And place an intel nuc or itx motherboard in it.
But i can't figure out if i can re use the screen.

Does anyone can help me with this?

Nobody is answering because this is not the best area of forum for your question.
Try the workshop area, case mods section.
Imac mods have been attempted.
There is a serious ongoing one with a NUC in an iMac.
Previous attempts creating an AIO (all in one kit) had holdup due to LVDS is done differently by Apple in DSDT.
A mod of IMAC may bypass this problem.
Look for the current mod of IMAC that uses all original switches etc.
If you had lightning strike your screen may be toast too.

I had an interest in this area so I keep watching for something to happen.
One thing which I have seen in current mod is keeping Apple fans. Very good idea.
