iMac 17,1 vs 14,2

Hey everyone, so I just finished tweaking majority of my optimizations on my hackintosh build, and all seems to be going great.

That said, I just realized that Multibeast automatically selected iMac 14,2 for me as my system definition. I'm wondering, is there any benefit, or would there be issues with changing it to 17,1? What's the difference between the two?

Using the iMac17,1 system definition, you will also need to apply the "black screen" fix.

Secondly, I was never able to get Handoff/Continuity to work correctly using the iMac17,1 definition whereas it works perfectly with the iMac14,2 system definition. YMMV

No black screen issues with HD530, don't use handoff/continuity so can't comment on that.
