Hi there,

I just did a full, fresh install of Mountain Lion with UniBeast. Everything went perfectly and smoothly, with the exception of one thing: My IDE drive (which happens to be my Time Machine drive containing all of my backups!) isn't showing up in either Disk Utility or in the main Finder window. I've installed the JMicron36x ATA kext from MultiBeast, and also tried the other 3rd party disk kexts, to no avail.

Desperately need to start pulling my files off of Time Machine onto my new install! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Here are my specs:

GA-P55M-UD4P (f11 bios)
Realtek 889a audio
NVIDIA GeForce 550 1GB
SATA Optical
2 SATA HDs
1 IDE HD

THANK YOU!!!

Nick

possibly not the best solution for you, but you could do one of the following:

Put the drive in a USB-IDE enclosure and plug it externally
Use a USB-IDE adapter internally
Use a SATA-IDE bridge board and connect it to a free SATA port.

Yeah, I'd thought of that. Hoping to not have to drop any cash to get it working, since it's been totally fine up until now, but if that's what I gotta do, that's what I gotta do! Anybody got any *free* ideas? Hehe.

Thanks!!

Aaaaaand magically, it's all working. Literally--got home from work this afternoon, and there my IDE drive was, like nothing ever happened. Silly computer goblins.

Thanks again!
