Hi,

I've been using iBoot while trying to get my machine to run as it's suppose to
but something strange happened, I don't know what I exactly did but now when I insert
iBoot disc it stops at:

no ramdisk config...
mounting: done

and I don't get the graphic interface from which I can choose what I want to boot to.

Any ideas?
please help

in most cases its the graphic card

hi mrniceguy89

I don't think it's the graphic card because it's too early to be an issue
also, I was able to boot into Snow Leopard earlier with the same card
now I'm not even given the choice where to boot from

You are the only one who can tell us what you did. Try giving more details about what you were tweaking before the machine stopped recognizing iBoot. BIOS settings?

Is the machine you are referring to the Laptop listed in your profile? If yes, then read the Laptop FAQ viewtopic.php?f=34&t=8538.

If no, then read the Forum FAQ and pay attention to Item #3

My bad,
My machine specs are as follow:
GA-P67A-UD4-B3
Intel i7 2600K
1 TB WD Black
4 GB ram
Gigabyte HD6850

I'll change those in my profile, didn't notice that I put my laptop when I registered. sorry

I was following Tony's guide (viewtopic.php?f=81&t=18641)
After running MB with DSDT from the database, I wasn't able to get OS X running and it froze at the apple symbol screen. Then, I noticed that the DSDT I used is for a newer BIOS version. so I flashed BIOS to the new version. Now, if I boot into windows it's all good. When I use iBoot it stops at mounting:done
