iBoot will not boot in Hyper V - hangs on cdboot: done

Is there any way to do this? I have tried 3.3.0 and legacy 2.7.2 and both hang with this screen

cdboot: init
cdboot: file size: 00042300
cdboot: reading sectors: 00000085
cdboot: loading..........
cdboot: done

Alternatively is there another way to boot in Hyper V? They work fine in Virtualbox.

iBoot is not supported within any virtualized environments, it is only for booting on bare metal.
