Hopefully someone can lend a helping hand. Brand new to the world of Hackintosh, looking to make a fully functional video editing machine.

Specifications are as follows:

ASUS - P7P55D-M EVO
Intel - i7 860
eVGA - GTX 260
650W PSU
8GB RAM (4GB installed)

I followed the installation guide on the Blog verbatim, and no such luck. I get a response of EBIOS error (repeats over and over)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the guide specifies using a Retail DVD (the one you pay $29 for...)...

Are you sure you are using it ?

try burning iboot-suppoerted to a different disk i had problems with using a cd-rw but it worked fine fron a cd-r.

Also have you changed the setting in your BIOS to boot form cd first and changed the sata settings to ACHI?

I restored the retail disk to my usb drive...I'm guessing that wasn't a good idea.

I can't seem to find my original disk :x My buddy has a disk, I will grab it from him tomorrow and let you know.
