Hello,
because an hardware issue I replaced my board and my CPU.
So by now I have an Asrock Z370 Extreme4 and an I7-8700K.
After some tests I'm a bit surprised.
On the one hand:
Speed is going down to 1GHz and up if necessary. Thats fine.
But the max. speed I reached was 4.3GHz (Via Intel Power Gadget). Doesn't matter if just one core is under fully load (Consumption around 35W, temperature less than 50°C) or all cores are under load (110W, 70°C).
Based on the spec the maximum speed should be 4,7GHz and its an "K" so probably it should be possible to have more speed than that.
Any idea how to speed up the processor?
