I7 870 geek benching 13400

So I got bored,

Upgrades to lion 10.7.3, installed a new akasa heatsink / cooling fan, whacked a twin turbo pro accelero on the 6870 graphics card, and installed an xfx 750 pro PSU


It's quiet and flies!!!! And that's at 2.93ghz.

I slightly raised voltage to 1.2 the block to 182 multiplier to 22 and I'm now running 4ghz

Temps are 34 idle and 71 maxed out rendering with cine bench.

I don't have a windows partition, all testing has been in OSX. It seems extremely stable though. I'm going to stick w7 on an old hdd in a bit and run some propper tests but geekbench 64 shows 13400

Sounds pretty good for the oldish 870 but run in prime for a few hours just to check stability and if stable you should be good
