As far as i remember 3820 works even in SL but without power management and requires VoodooTSCSync on certain motherboards, and the old Quadro 4000 works great in 10.8 with Nvidia drivers.
What about the new 4820K and Quadro K4000? Do they have better (more native) support on Mavericks, or it would be a better idea to get the old 3820 and 4000 for a Mavericks based system?
