Running super smooth. Average Geekbench 2.2 for MacBookPro 8,2 with i7-2720qm is around 9700. Added 16 GB DDR3-1333 RAM along with my 256GB Crucial C300 SSD and I am getting:

Keep in mind that I am doing a time machine backup and massive file transfer to get backed up. I was getting in the 9700 range. Check out my scores from Geekbench's website. Profile Inmike02.

Definitely worth the upgrade. I even have a real USB 3.0 blue port which I never had.

what about heat development?
The original 4530s with i7 have two CPU fans but the i5 just one.

No issues with heat at all. Running 2670QM and 2630QM on both of my 4430s and idle temp is ~42 degrees. It goes up into the mid 50s if I'm doing more intensive stuff. Normal as usual.

I just put the 8 GB DDR3-1600 that I bought a while back and look what just happened. Clearly breaking the 101xx range....

how is the 2670QM and 2630QM performing in Geekbench?
I try to decide which one to get i7-2720QM, i7-2670QM or i7-2630QM but the i7-2720QM cost too much right now.

I bought the i7-2720QM I will get it maybe next week. I hope it was wort the money :). My i5-2410M will be for sale.

I don't want to thing what I would pay for the configuration I have for a Macbook Pro.
For now the HP cost me with i7 550 EUR :)

does any one have a picture of the heat sink/fan from a 4530s with original i7 CPU?
I just wonder if they differ from i5
